The Mall at Johnson City Launches Retail To-Go, a New Curbside Pickup Program

JOHNSON CITY, TN (July 30, 2020) – The Mall at Johnson City welcomes Walkabout Sally as the newest addition to the town center’s diverse selection of options for guests. Walkabout Sally, a locally owned boutique, features bohemian style clothing, tapestries and home décor. Walkabout Sally opened its second location in the Tri Cities on Thursday, July 30 at 11 a.m. in the upper level adjacent to the elevator at The Mall at Johnson City.
“Our guests are always changing and evolving, and at The Mall at Johnson City, we want to be able to offer them today’s top trends and shopping destinations,” said Ashley Grindstaff, General Manager, The Mall at Johnson City. “We are looking forward to welcoming guests to Walkabout Sally while keeping the health of shoppers our top priority and providing the safest experience possible.”
Walkabout Sally, founded by Sally Bissen, is a family-owned small business based in Northeastern Tennessee. The boutique offers eclectic fashion, jewelry and décor, and is known as “the shop for your life’s journey.”
Walkabout Sally will follow current mall operating hours of Monday - Saturday 11 a.m. – 7 p.m. and Sunday noon – 6 p.m.
The Mall at Johnson City remains focused on providing a safe and enjoyable experience for everyone. In the continued need to address COVID-19, the town center has proactively implemented additions to the Code of Conduct, effective immediately and until further notice.

The Mall at Johnson City’s already rigorous disinfectant and cleaning practices will also continue many times per day, including periodically disinfecting areas most susceptible to the spread of germs. Alcohol-based hand sanitizer dispensers are located in highly-trafficked areas and walkways for public use.
The Mall at Johnson City’s newest retailer Walkabout Sally will enhance the town center’s variety of notable retail locations to offer guests the most dynamic shopping experience.
